***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

I'd a whole lot rather have Denver's QB situation than KC's.
Who wouldn't?

I wouldn't. Manning will be Ok, but once the bullets fly and blitzes come etc, I think he'll be just that, OK. So, broncos will have a good QB that is 37years old and on the decline, with no solid backup. chiefs will have a 30 year old OK qb and a solid backup. It's almost a wash if you ask me, with the broncos having to watch Mannings skills fall off over the next few years, while Cassel may only get better with the same OC for the first time ever.

C'mon, anyone who says they wouldn't trade QB situations with Denver is ****ing delusional.

Manning's head would have to be ripped off his body for me not to want him instead of Cassel and Hanne has accomplished more than Quinn in the NFL.

I see a pattern developing here. That pattern is lack of arm strength + ball behind intended wr's.

Never said Cassel is something he isn't.

I'm curious what you think of Manning's arm strength. Lesser, same, or better. Looking for an honest opinion.

Roughly $10 million/year. The difference is you guys love Manning and we hate Cassel.

I was told by Knowmo that Manning's contract includes thousands of little opt-out clauses for you guys if Manning really does wind up being Damon Huard. We'll see how much you guys get back if Nearly Headless Peyton isn't what you thought he was.

honestly when the reg season roles around....i believe he will be ready to play.

haven't watched any of his preseasons games thus far....but he's the best QB of the last decade and is a gamer, I would never count him out.

Well, there you go. Watch these games and watch clips of his before the surgery. There is a pretty substantial difference.

IMHO Everything except his work ethic and field management looks like he's been on an 18 month lay off. Strength, timing, none of it is 100%. Live game action and continued work outs are the only things that can bring that closer to where he was before; how close he ever gets remains to be seen.

I'll divide the season up into thirds (assuming he makes it a season. Who knows?). The first 5 games are getting back into it, knocking the rust off, building strength, getting used to new WRs and Offense, testing out the neck and body to see if he can take the constant beating of the NFL.

I'll look at the next five games to see how he improves over the first five. I'll look at the last 6 games to see where he stands. At this point this season is all speculation, that's why his contract is written the way it is.

I'm watching Denver's backup QB situation just as closely, if Osweiller isn't it I want to see us draft or trade for a QB next year.
