***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

What is Miller’s ceiling? How good can he become? I asked Matt Williamson of Scouts Inc. whether he thinks Miller can become the game’s next well-rounded star at linebacker. His response was eye-popping. Williamson has been in NFL buildings. He knows scouting. He does not major in hyperbole. I’ve always found his analysis of players to be level-headed and without nonsense.

So when Williamson said “Miller’s ceiling is being the very best defensive player in the NFL and a Hall of Famer,” I didn’t take it lightly.

Added Fox: “The sky really is the limit. He can be as good as he wants to be, and Von wants to be really good.”

Elway was satisfied with the Manning he first saw at Duke, where Manning worked out after he was released by the Colts, and the Manning he sees now has improved tremendously from then, much faster than Elway expected.

Elway looks at the throws Manning makes when his feet are not set. Those are the ones that convince him Manning’s arm is back.

“I didn’t know what 100 percent of Peyton Manning was,” Elway said. “I just know, knowing what I’ve seen, he can win a world championship.”

Maybe so. Manning was watching film one day in Denver, and finally found what he was looking for. It was a long pass, a comebacker from Manning on the right hash mark to Decker on the left side. It was, Manning recalls, “a pretty healthy throw.”

He took a video of the play with his cellphone and sent it off, a digital thank you note — “Hey, I just want to thank you for all your help,” he added — to the doctors in Indianapolis, to the former Colts coach Jim Caldwell and the team’s former general manager Bill Polian and a handful of others.

News flash Elway, Peyton's arm isn't back. It never will be. It's going to look even worse when he has to play Romeo's defense again.
