Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Oh, ok. Yes, I believe you are correct. Charles has done more in his career than McGahee did on Sunday.

He left Buffalo as a free agent. He hated it there.

He was the guy in Baltimore and Billick was criticized by Ray Lewis for not giving him the ball more. Then Baltimore got Ray Rice and Willis became the #2 guy.

McGahee has had a very solid career. He doesn't dance, he always finds the right hole, and very rarely does he get stopped for a loss. He's a very good player. If I had to compare him to a former player I would compare him to Corey Dillon.

I just hope they run JC 30 carries a game this season. He sucked it up for me the first two weeks on my fantasy game but is starting to justify his roster spot.

He's a fine player, but I can rattle off three or four better RBs that Denver used to have. If I were to write a history of illustrious Denver RBs, McGahee would take up half of a paragraph on the last page. He's not great or brilliant by any means.

Why did he hate it in Buffalo and Baltimore? Because the coaches didn't trust his ass.

I don't think he hated Baltimore. He hated the city of Buffalo more than anything. I remember him commenting about how there was literally nothing to do in Buffalo.

McGahee is a good RB and a great fit for the offense... he's not 'elite', but there aren't many elite RBs out there right now. McGahee plays his role well at this point in his career and the production is solid. Nothing more, nothing less.

Anyone that says they'd take him over a guy like Charles in this offense is silly. Obviously, Charles is the better RB - but that really doesn't matter much.

McGahee is 31 years old and this is his 9th season... so, they need to make sure they work in the other guys to keep him fresh for the long haul.

The nice thing so far is his production - many said the ground game would fall apart with the departure of Tebow.

Through 4 games - he has 3 TDs, which is 1 less than in all of 2011.
--Rushing attempts per game - 17, which is his best since 2007.
--4.7 Y/A ... is the 3rd best in his career.
--81.3 Y/G ... the best he's averaged in his career.

If you take this across the full season, he's got 1200 yds and 12 TDs... gimme 1,000 yds and 8 TDs and I'm more than happy.

Plus, he's had 9 catches in 4 games - doesn't sound like much, but it's putting him on pace to have his 2nd best receiving season of his career.

Again - he fits the role in Denver very well. Now they need Hillman and Ball to step up and add something to the mix.

He isn't the home run threat that Charles is, but he is most certainly a better every-down back. He is an old school RB who wears the other team out and gets stronger as the game goes on.
You're such a moron.

This is JC's 5th season.

WM has been around twice as long.

Heard on the radio that the Broncos are third in the AFC in point differential. Houston and New England are the only two teams in the NFL with a better point differential and Houston only beat us by 6.

HOU (like ATL) did go prevent late in the game - you've ignored this when others have said it, but it's true - it happens, it's what teams do late in games.

The offense stalled too much early in both the ATL and HOU games, they can't do that on Sunday or they will lose by large margins.

They didn't go into prevent. Atlanta didn't use as much of the "exotic" stuff they were using earlier in the game but they certainly weren't in prevent.

Same with Houston. The Texans corners were in our receivers face the entire game.

We certainly didn't go into prevent against Oakland.
