***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Manning was building a deck and sitting on it in the backfield yesterday. Denver's Oline is good.

Knowmo likes to pimp his OL, which is extremely average.

And the Chiefs shitty line last yr gave up one sack in 3 games while Orton was in there.

A capable QB makes a difference.

Your OL is average.

gotta admit, watching a franchise that cares and in competant is inspiring to us chiefs fans. This abortion of a season is soooooo bad, it has become rather comical. Whereas I used to get bummed after a chiefs loss, I haven't even seen the fourth quarter of a game in 4 weeks. Part of it is I've outgrown living for my hometown team, the other part is that at this point, I'm hoping the chiefs lose to get a better draft position. It's really come to that for most chiefs fans. Now, as far as the donks? I respect that they are trying to win now, but I think they are still not the toast of the AFC.

Peyton isn't a one-man band

Along with the rest of the media, I've been effusive in my praise of Peyton Manning's play this season. He is a legitimate MVP candidate and has exceeded the most optimistic expectations with his performance following multiple neck procedures. That being said, he isn't the only reason the Denver Broncos are sitting atop the AFC West. The following Broncos players deserve some attention as well:

Wide receivers Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker: Thomas is currently fourth in the NFL in receiving yards (756) and has caught more passes of 20 yards or more (17) than anyone in the league. Decker, meanwhile, is currently tied for third in the league with seven touchdown receptions. Both receivers quickly have adapted to their new quarterback and make big plays on a weekly basis.

Running back Willis McGahee: McGahee is on pace to rush for more than 1,200 yards. Manning needs a strong running game to set up the play-action pass and create windows down the field; McGahee gives him that.

Offensive line: The Broncos' offensive line has allowed the second-fewest sacks (10) in the NFL. Manning is known for his quick release, but his line has been a great help, keeping him from taking many hits, let alone sacks.

Pass rushers Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil: Miller is currently tied for second in the NFL with nine sacks, and Dumervil isn't far behind with six. They form one of the NFL's most disruptive pass-rushing duos and have helped close out several Denver victories.

Well, just admit the line is average so we can move on. He's been sacked 10 times this season.

It's all Manning. It always has been.

16 in 2010, 10 in 09. The Colts' OLs were average, too.

Did you watch the Denver-Cincinnati game?

True, it is fun. Another charmed season in Pile High as those "muscle rubs" have turned Jugheads clock back. Would be funny if he gets busted for using illegal performance enhancing drugs though Course he probably is, but it will be looked over.
