***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

If they had started the season the way they are playing right now they'd be easily cruising to the #1 seed in the AFC.

You might want to think twice before destroying us as violently as you're about to, Denver.

It's been far too long since you've had to face a legitimate franchise QB in the division. In the interest of the balance of the universe and all that jazz, you're bound to get ****ed in the ass by one eventually.

That moment looks to be arriving shortly. You're the last line of defense against your own destruction.

Something to think about.

I might have been worried if you guys had the #1 pick when Andrew Luck came out, and the reason I would have been worried with Luck is we would have a hard time getting a better QB. Geno could turn out to be a good QB in the NFL, but I don't think Denver will have a hard time finding someone better after Manning retires, Brock already could be that guy.

Brock Osweiler could end up being better than Geno Smith.

Never in my life have I heard a man sound more like a fool.

He could. He has all the physical tools and he gets to be around Peyton Manning for four hours a day and gets to bump into Elway in the hallway. He is in the perfect situation to develop.

Oooh, and I bet they get to play swords and grab ass in the locker room too.

Brock is so lucky.

Start over without spouting off cliches like a retard, please.

QBs don't become good by being a jock washer for HOF players. They have to possess talent in the first place.

Assweiler was an inaccurate spazz in college. His ceiling in the NFL is Matt Cassel + 6 inches.

How you can see franchise QB in that is beyond me. It's astounding.

He has talent. He has a strong arm and is athletic for a guy his size. I've seen people compare him to Ben Roethlisburger. If he would have stayed in college he would have been a first round draft pick.

I say he has a 50/50 shot of becoming a franchise QB. We won't know for another three years. At least having him will make the preseason more interesting.

The definition of homer: latching onto sources that spread sunshine and daisies and agree with your desired outcomes

"Good" sources on Geno Smith: Everything under the sun that says he's terrible
"Bad" sources on Geno Smith: The eyes of every football watcher, professional and amateur alike, who even know a remote amount about the game

"Good" sources on Brock Osweiler: All the happy Denver fans twittering from practices
"Bad" sources on Brock Osweiler: Anybody with ****ing eyes

Do you ever form your own opinions on players, Knowmo?

Things that matter more than size and arm strength when playing QB: pocket presence, accuracy, football smarts

Things Geno Smith has in spades: pocket presence, accuracy, football smarts

Things Brock Osweiler doesn't have: pocket presence, accuracy, football smarts

I don't think Geno is consistently accurate. He doesn't throw guys open and there are times when he throws a short little 5 yard screen pass over a guys head.

Brock is a project. He wasn't being brought into Denver to start from day one. I think with our coaching staff and with the people we have around him he has a good chance to develop into a good player.
