For the record, the zebras missed a few today. There were TWO delay of game penalties on the Rams that they failed to call. One which resulted in a key play to Bruce and a TD. The other one was a sack we had so I'm kinda glad they missed it. The roughing the passer call was cheesey! The leading with the helmet penalty was borderline so I won't cry about it. On the flipside, Gonzo had a pretty good pushoff on that deep falling down catch in the redzone early. I heard someone say Sly had a pushoff too but I didn't see it. Fortunately, the refs didn't affect the outcome this week.

You left out the play that was ruled a fumble by Grbac but blown dead (?) before the Rams recovered... Brutal.

jq - I have seen that happen to us before, they made the right call if they call it consistently. I still don't agree with the calls on those type plays, but according to the stupid rules it is the right call. I still hate the rule that if a ref points at the ground on a fumble that it is not reviewable.

Kloster - Gonzo had a bunch of hand fights with the guys covering him, luckily they are normally doing it too so he is less likely to get called.

jq - Why was Gannon on the bench at the end of the game? Just trying to protect him from injury? He did not look happy about, but I wasn't watching closely enough.

Gannon was out of the game because we were up 31-3 with 3 minutes left. No sense risking injury at that point.

That non change of possession for the Rams and that personal foul against Wesley were horrible calls.

All in all, it was called pretty evenly. Carey is one of the best, much better than Hoculi.

JQ - that is what I thought about Gannon, didn't look injured or anything. I think the Personal Foul on the QB late hit was a worse call then the Wesley call. Heck, even Joe Seahawk agreed that it was a horrible call.

I can't disagree much on the other call, I hate that call, but it is they way they call it. It would be nice if they could fix some of these weird rules.
