The beer I'm drinking has stuff in it

... it's Praga Premium Pils. There are brown snowflakes in the beer. It's slimy and gross.

And it's really freaking me the **** out man.

Gag.

I took a swig off a beer that had a few cigarette butts in it the other day.

Puked. A lot.

That's likely just yeast and some protein. Typical in unfiltered beer. It usually settles at the bottom. Most breweries will tell you to leave the last little bit of liquid in the bottle if you want to avoid the sediment. They usually leave the beer unfiltered to keep the full flavor.

I was once told that's why beer is distributed in brown bottles. It wasn't until I saw stuff floating around inside a clear Miller High Life bottle that I started wondering what I've been drinking that I didn't know I was drinking because I couldn't see it in the brown bottle.

Not sure if serious.

They put beer in brown bottles because light degrades the beer. It's also why many craft brewers have 6 packs with the labels going nearly all the way to the top of the bottles or completely covering the bottles.

While possible even if unfiltered (which I doubt this beer is) it Is highly unlikely that any Pilsner would have yeast sediment in it due to the lagering process.

My guess is he got a bad bottle and that's some type of mold growth. Its harmless but shouldn't be there.

This is correct, this is also why skunky beers like Heineken and Corona are purposefully in clear or green bottles. The light creates the skunky note.

well everything on beer advocate doesn't mention the floaties. Plus I believe it is a filtered pilsner so there shouldn't be floaties. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/303/82287/
