Was that the play where he "went for the legs" of the QB?

This is atrocious, I could not believe Hali was flagged for that play and I am in an even deeper state of disbelief that Hali was fined. This new rule essentially forces any defensive player to quit on any play that they fall upon the ground. This obliterates any opportunity for a fallen defensive player to make a play for the benefit of the team.

Darn it, is this the national football league or not? This rule is the extra large sized trojan any quarterback or offense for that matter.

Bleh.

Hali is one of the nicest professional athletes I've met in a long time. We see him about once a week for various reasons at my work, and he's always incredibly gracious and just a nice person.

HOLY CRAP!! He got fined for that shit!!??! He shouldn't have even been flagged much less fined! Holy shit NFL. Come 2015, there won't be such a thing as quarterbacks, they'll just put Juggs machines behind the O-line and aim them.

This league is so ****ing pussified right now, its ridiculous.

Hali was pushed to the ground from behind after a blown blocking assignment by their LT. Hali's motor never stopped and he basically crawled to Russel and grabbed him at or about the knees while he was still on the ground. Russel still threw the pass, despite it being one of many innacurate shots. Russel was benched for his play, it had nothing to do with injury.
