Buying a home near power lines

So, a house I'm looking at is a really nice home and everything but directly behind the property line is massive wooden power lines. I've heard that's dangerous to health is there any truth to this?

go for it if you don't mind cancer and any offspring you have or might have in the future having their growth stunted.

I could see it being pretty hazardous if the power lines fall.

I have a feeling your gene pool is already pretty diluted so I don't see the harm in this.

Yes this is exactly right- Buyers do not want to be by power lines. I would pass on it unless it is at 30% less than market value.

It would have to be hugely discounted in my mind. I've read enough about cows being electrocuted by stray voltage to make me wary.
