Great News

The Republicans are in the dumps with this defeat.

The Democrats are sucking each other off over the victory.

The process was severly abused and ignored by the Democrats. The Republicans were just as bad (on a smaller scale), which killed any credibility that they have.

The Great News:

In the past the majority of America didn't really give a shit about what happened in Congress. America now sees how bad the jerkoffs in Congress have become, so changes should be coming. Every Bill should be voted on strictly on it's own merits, not on bribes, pork, or anything else attached.

How do you think America will react?

Will the people speak out in November, then slowly go back to their old ways of ignoring Congress, or will the people demand change beyond the next 4 elections?

It'd sure be nice to vote out every incumbent and start over with people who care about the country. But then, I've said that every election for the past 20 years.

I'm willing to vote all the R's and D's out and replace them with new fresh faces with the proper ideals and values. Socialists and closet Commies can stay home.

Throw out the extreme Conservatives, too.

I want people with common sense. I want someone who votes strictly on what they believe is right or wrong, not vote due to what they can get out of the deal.

Get rid of all the life politicians who were born with a silver spoon shoved up their ass. I want real people who have lived the real American life.

OK, Palin? She's out.

Deal making is part of Politics though. There's a line though where deal making becomes selling out and corruption that damages the country.

I think we need some long term Senators who are Parlimentarian experts. They play a vital role in both parties.

In my dream world I would eliminate any side deal tied to a bill. With the pieces of shit in office now that would be like asking them to stop breathing, eating, and ****ing.

Instead of extreme conservatives, I should have said Religious Right. It's great that they believe in God, but, like the Gays, please keep it to yourself. I don't want to hear it or have your ideals forced upon me.

Don't get me started on Palin. She might be very intelligent, but she comes across as a ditz to me and a lot of other Americans.

You're right. We need to just keep rotating our pols before they become completely corrupted. 90 percent at least.

What makes you think extreme conservatives (and extreme liberals for that matter) aren't voting strictly on what they believe is right or wrong?

FYI, no matter what happens in November, nothing will be changing.

There is the good with the bad.

It goes both ways.

I for one believe that the people will rise up for one election. After some of the seats are exchanged this year, most of the voters will pat themselves on the back for a job well done.

After a year or two the House and Senate will revert back to the same old bullshit, and very few people will notice. It's human nature.

I note your defensiveness at the critical mention of socialists and closet commies. Maybe you're more self-aware than you let on.
