Judge strikes down ordinance banning illegals from renting...

Somehow it is unconstitutional to not rent to illegals....

That is not what the ruling says, it says the city doesn't have the power to make that decision, it is a federal power. At least that is what I took from the article.

I understand that. But the mere fact that it is illegal to be in the country illegally, go figure, should prohibit renting to illegals. Otherwise you are aiding a criminal, are you not?

It's none of their business?

I agree with you for the most part. The idea that illegals have Constitutional rights is bizarre at the least.

The bottom line is this...as a property owner you don't have to rent to anyone you don't want to and can make up any excuse based on teh facts.
