Prayers for my mom
A few days before my birthday five years ago I learned my mother had cancer. Now my dad told me that they are stopping the chemo therapy because she's too sick and affraid it would do more harm than good. He said they have another appointment with the doctor in May. Hospice will come and take care of her. I think I know what this means but at the moment i'm having a tough time acknowledging it. So if you could please keep my mother in your prayers. Thanks guys.

Lost my mom 6 years ago this May. In trying to find something fitting to say at her service I came across this on the subject of mothers, and I'm paraphrasing: "There is no one person a man tries to grow away from that he misses more when they're gone".
