I'm getting worried that McDaniels knows what he's doing. What if the secret to NE's success (besides cheating) was a strategy to draft the smartest players available.... and he's using a similar formula in Denver? What if he's secretly checking into how smart the draftees are & picking the cream? Oakland has been doing the opposite - picking speed or muscle without regard to whats in the cranium (see JaDufus).... a formula for chronic suckage. What if NE's strategy is the polar opposite & that's why they've been chronic winners?
