The Expendables

This one looks promising, based of the overwhelmingly positive reaction to early test footage and trailers.

The film pays tribute to the blockbuster action films of the 1980s and early '90's, and stars an array of action veterans from those decades, including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, and Jet Li, as well as more recent stars such as Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Who's thinking of seeing this movie?

How could anyone who grew up watching those guys in action flicks NOT want to see it? Even though many are eligible for their AARP cards, at least they have style.

I'm pretty sure it will get lame reviews, but I'm looking forward to it.

I have been looking forward to it. The sad thing is this kind of deal has potential for disappointment written all over it. We shall see.

Superb Marketing. They released a sort of attack trailer:

That is awesome. "Not off your torrents. In a ****ing theater."

I'll go see it in a theater for that alone. Gotta love the direct approach.

I have seen every Jet Li movie on opening night since his debut in Leth Weapon 3

He would not be in it unless it is going to kick ass. Jet could probably kick all those guys asses at once.
