As much as I LOVE the original Dawn of the Dead, it was hard to imagine that I wouldn't hate the remake. I actually went into the movie boiling with hate. I hate remakes of classics that I love. I loved it though. So to turn me from someone dead set on HATING the movie to loving almost as much as the original...that's a good movie. They did a great job with it.

The Day of the Dead remake...not so much. However, I didn't think the original Day was all that great anyway. The only Romero zombie flicks I didn't really care for were Day and Survival. Love Night, Dawn, Diary, Land.

I already covered why the Will Smith movie sucked. It basically trolled everyone who has read the book right at the end by changing the ending to something cliche and stupid. Boy I was pissed.

They had that on Netflix instant queue (or however the **** you spell that word) a while back. I checked it out because I'm a big zombie fanatic. I thought it was pretty entertaining. If I remember correctly, that dude had just gotten bit. So he wanted to go out in a blaze of glory and create a distraction for the others to get away.. Woody's still the best.

I watched Fido last night.

It had a lot of promise but ended up shitting the bed, really...
