Santucci was a seventh-round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2007
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Saturday that the club has signed free agent OL Dan Santucci. The team waived RB Tervaris Johnson.

Santucci (6-4, 305) originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (230th overall) of Cincinnati in 2007, playing in two games with the Bengals as a rookie. The Hardwood Heights, Illinois native was a four-year letterman at Notre Dame. Santucci earned honorable mention all-state accolades as a senior at St. Patrick High School in Chicago.

Johnson appeared in 48 games at the University of Miami, catching eight passes for 94 yards. He prepped at Monsignor Pace High School in Opa Locka, Florida.

need another LG for practice since Waters isn't practicing and who knows when Harris will be back(hopefully soon).

T. Johnson was probably waived/injured like cottam and will most likely go unclaimed and to IR.

The Kansas City Chiefs tried out former University of Maryland fullback Cory Jackson(notes) today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

Jackson signed with the San Diego Chargers after going undrafted, but was released in June.

Jackson lettered all four years for the Terrapins.

Two years ago, Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen said of Jackson: "He might be our MVP and unsung hero. He does all the dirty work. When he's playing well, we're playing well. It definitely had an impact on our running game."

Jackson started eight games as a senior last season, rushing for 14 yards and catching six passes for 46 yards while primarily operating as a physical lead blocker.
