Football Moss claimed by Titans

Titans acquired WR Randy Moss off waivers from the Vikings.
The Rams, Redskins, Raiders, and Dolphins all passed. Ranked 30th in the league in pass attempts per game, Tennessee isn't a great landing spot for Moss' fantasy value. It's going to make Chris Johnson even more dangerous, however, as defenses won't be able to stack the box with 8-9 defenders consistently due to the routine double teams Moss will command. The acquisition reconfirms a bleak outlook for Kenny Britt's (hamstring) recovery; Britt has already been ruled out for Week 10. Moss doesn't figure to help Nate Washington much, and Justin Gage will move into a clear-cut reserve role. The Titans are on a bye, so Moss has two weeks to pick up Mike Heimerdinger's offense before a Week 10 game at Miami. Though Moss won't be a good bet for more than 3-5 catches a game down the stretch, he'll remain a strong candidate for weekly touchdowns. He's scored five times in seven games this season.
