She has a Norah Jones thing going on. She's sexier but not quite as good vocally (imo).

Cool, i've been meaning to listen to these songs, gotten the weird feeling after reading some interviews/reviews that its actually pretty good.

And i definitely liked the fact that the album is available for $10 retail, that was a very smart move, recognizing their place in the market.

Here we go, hope to be instantly wowed UNlike a first listening to of the new Van Halen stuff.

To be honest "Long Way Down" isn't that good imo but I shared it anyway. The first single "Hell Or Hallelujah" is much better. In fact the whole album is better.

Just listened to Hell or Hallelujah, they can really still get it, Stanley sounds as good as ever, whoever the new guys are seem to be inspiring them, they sound better than they have since the late 80's.

I'm going to go buy the album tomorrow, its just something that needs done at this point in time, Youth Elixir in a Bottle - $10.

No new guys. Paul and Gene, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer. All have been KISS members on multiple albums before. Eric spends time playing for KISS and Alice Cooper, Tommy is back and imo the second best lead guitar player after Bruce Kulick. They just still rock. I don't think Paul will ever lose it. Doing opera's away from KISS keeps the voice as loose as ever.

I had no idea it was still Thayer from Black & Blue, i'm liking his style, the dude has really grown as a musician, some great riffs from him, he fits right into what they're doing, it really sounds fresh.

Much better than the Kulick days, they've gone back to roots.
