Chiefs Today may have been a blessing in disguise

Whether we were looking ahead to next week or just flat out played a shitty game it was a good wake up call at the exact time we need it. As youg and inexperienced this team is a good reality check the week before the playoffs was probably a good dose of medicine that we needed. They understand now you can't just walk onto the field at Arrowhead and win.

Some are going apeshit abotut oday and indeed it was a bad game. But I will look at the silver lining that is there and say this may have been the punch in the mouth that we needed heading into the playoffs.

Loss to Oakland is another one.

Now tell me how did the Chiefs play the weeks following each of those games.

Being blown out three times by divisional opponents is not good. Lots of work to be done this offseason...

Yep, lots of work to be done in the offseason. But that was going to be the case no matter what. This team has played well after blowout losses this year so far....hopefully they can continue to do so. Next week is the most important game to this franchise in a decade, and I think Haley will have them show up.

They should've shown up today. No excuse, they went undefeated all season at home until this week.

Young team. Playoff game secured. Some off-field coaching distractions and probably some of the younger players playing not to get hurt so they don't miss next week.

We were prime for a let down game today.
