Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

You do realize that the team's original starting WR2 for is bad enough that he was deactivated today so that a midweek pickup could take his place, right? That's not the 5th or 6th wideout, that's the #2 man.

No, we just don't want this to happen again. Quit being stupid, everyone wanted the Chiefs to win. But, if we keep Cassel, we will probably never win a playoff game with him.

You're not helping. Hahaha...
Bowe gets taken out of the game and Kevin Curtis is on the other side.
But it's all on Cassel? Hilarious. Why do I bother arguing against that kind of logic?

I'm just finding it hard to believe Cassel will get any better than he is. I want to, but ugh. He just didn't show me anything today. He just doesn't have "it." I hope he develops it, but how long does Haley and Pioli wait?

Not sure what your point is. The one WR who was actually getting some seperation in todays game is now Cassels scapegoat for sucking?

That is a million times better than Cassel's performance.
And in his third game, he played the 9-7 Jets, and got shut out 41-0 while tossing up a 31.2 rating with 0 TDs and 2 INTs.

He's a really good back up quarterback though. Really Good. I mean earlier in the season, I didn't even think he was a back up quarterback. But His little mid season run absolutely convinced me he is a franchise back up quarterback. But you might as well breathe easy, he will be our quarterback next season.

You are wrong. We all want Cassel to succeed because if he does the Chiefs succeed. We just don't think he can be the one to lead us to championships.

Do you believe that he could win a SB?

Charles was consistently running for first downs and Cassel was shitting a brick. Great improvement.

Got it.
worst QB rating in the playoffs so far = SUCK...

WTF...Does it really matter what he did during the regular season? apples and oranges buddy...you can't compare. Other than Ryan and Cutler your comparisons are all out of the playoffs...whatever.

Then what the Hell is?

The strength of schedule argument is DUMB.
He didn't play well last year against an even weaker schedule.
You can quote stats all day long. I watched the games. Yes, he didn't turn the ball over. Yes he had a high rating (which carries very little weight IMO). He plays exactly the type of game that makes stats columns look shiny, but he'll never be the guy that saves the game.

You want Trent Dilfer? Fine. Keep in mind though, you have to build an entire team to prop him up. Guys like Manning and Brady make Pierre Garcon and Danny Woodhead household names, while guys like Matt Cassel make Dwayne Bowe disappear.

The one guy that Cassel doesn't know how to mesh with was the only one who could do anything. Meanwhile, Bowe, the team's #1 wideout, couldn't get open, and McCluster put the ball on the ground after making a catch.

Was today the first football game you've ever watched, or something?

What matters is the playoffs man. He didn't do anything today. That's what counts.
