Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

Well you go from a bad qb, to not a good qb. Your team is still ****ed.

Not tooo much of a difference. Team will still end up being ass unless you got a killer defense.

When you can point to Reid giving a QB a ridiculous extension on no merit, then you can bitch about it before it would happen.

Are we going to call 2-14 to a wild card win in year 2 "merit"? Are we?

Is this what it's come to?

Someone on my FB page just whined about me taking shots at Cassel.

Delusional idiot from the Vikes board, heh he's in for a rude awakening. Deep threat, Kasl ha!

"Anyone going into this thinking that Ponder job is safe is making a big mistake. Cassel can play and he's a legit deep threat, especially with our WR's. Cassel deserves to be on this list of studs simply because I think that Ponder is being coddled for no reason. If anything, he should be taking more snaps to get his timing in line before the start of the season.

Matt Cassel, AP, our WR's and this line = a very dangerous, unpredictable offense. Ponder and the same crew = a predictable and easy to defend group.

Cassel will be the starter by week 3!"

What do you expect? They're from Minnesota, which is an Indian term for "shitty football".

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
