Cassel did, does, and will always suck
I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

The QB is suppose to make the defense pay for blitzing him, it leaves openings in the field where the hot read is can to slip to. This is also Cassel's weakness to recognize a blitz and to signal the hot read to be ready for the football.

Could be, but you have to have receivers that see the blitz and go to the hot spot. I don't think that happened either, so is it just Cassel or a combination?

For those that are back on the Hate bandwagon for Cassel, I presume you are going to spend the next 3 years whining and bitching about Cassel. What happens if the Chiefs get to the SB with him? Will he still suck?

I'm disillusioned with the Chiefs to an extent, but I'm more disillusioned with the so called fans of the team. I guess in my eyes you take what you have and support the team. In todays world it's OK to hate your team, your players and anyone that doesn't agree with your view.

I hope your life is better than the Chiefs, I'd hate to hear that some of the fans did the hari kari routine because their wife ****** up dinner.

They practice this, and the QB signals to the hot read through audible or hand movement to go to a certain space in the field because he recognized the blitz coming from that area.
