This is sort of like at the Oscars when last year's Best Actress winner reads that year's Best Actor nominees, and vice versa.

Ya know, Cassel did one hell of a job handing the ball off to RBs last year & the result was a number one leading rushing offense. Don't know what to say about the 30th in passing but he did awesome handing the ball off.

He started to grow as a passer as the year went on. He became better at not making mistakes and got a lot more comfortable in the pocket as the year went on. He grew as a leader as well. The way he gives everything for the team endears him to people and makes them want to return the favor. I dont think we've seen his ceiling yet, but I dont think there is a lot more till he gets there, either. The next step is to become much faster through his reads, threaten defenses with more from the 15-25 yard area (and further, occasionally when its there, which it should be with these weapons), keep his eyes downfield under pressure, avoid the rush and set his feet..you know, that kinda stuff. I think Stanzi has a higher ceiling and that this time next year, there may well be a controversy brewing if Cassel doesnt improve upon a strong 2010. By now, everybody on the offense knows Stanzis arm is stronger and that he is more accurate.

let's see against the murder's row schedule in November to make that assumption, where he is the reason if KC wins and not in spite of.

And we signed a WR off the street that started that game. If that isn't the definition of a horrid WR corps I don't know what is.

Second, KC shit its self in the playoffs. The OL got raped. The running game and passing game were abused. The Defense was clueless and worked all day long.... Ironic that you blame one person to fit your agenda, when the whole team failed...

You people don't watch games, do you?
![]() Contrary to popular belief, that Baltimore playoff game wasn't a shellacking from start to finish. In the first half our D was phenominal and we had a semblance of a running game. The idea would have been to let those two things continue to work so Cassel could get some confidence as the Baltimore D started to tighten up and become brittle. A turnover in the running game ****ed us over, but with any kind of competent playoff QB (even *gasp* someone like Mark Sanchez) we should have been able to effectively take care of the ball and play field position. Cassel threw two consecutive INTs deep in our own zone. The D was playing great in spite of all that, but finally started to collapse. The 2nd half of that game is where the assraping commenced. Cassel didn't have time to throw? Too ****ing bad. He had enough time. Didn't have receivers? He didn't even ****ing chuck shit up at Bowe and hope he came down with it. He didn't even ****ing LOOK his direction. Sometimes shit doesn't go a QB's way. Too ****ing bad. Jesus Christ, I'm going to make Darth CarlSatan look as well-liked as a collective ChiefsPlanet-posting robot of Rain Main, FAX, and Gaz if the Chiefs get to the playoffs this year and Cassel shits his pants again. That will mean the douchebag has to GO. I don't care how. Injury, benching, cutting, trading, doesn't matter. Win and he can stay. Suck and he can go die in a ****ing fire. |

Didn't Baltimore take the opening kick and go on a 70 yard 6 minute drive down to KC's 1 yard line before settling for a FG? The 2nd drive they ate up 4 1/2 minutes and moved into KC territory before punting. They ended the half by giving up another long drive and TD. They had moments - Hali's sack and strip, and holding tough after a fumble, but they weren't phenomenal and were worn out in the 2nd half, in part, because of their inability to plan for and shut down Heap in the first half.

The Baltimore game, score is 16-7 3rd Quarter. Turning point of the game. Look at the 4:18. Cassel has time, forces a throw to Moeki while Bowe is wide open down the field. Never even looks that way. Pressure sort of comes but Cassel is chicken shit scared. Game over from there. Major turning point and the blame goes to Cassel, not the OL or WRs.

the mother****er missed the hot route multiple times, when the WR was exactly where the the blitzer was, but instead he was too focused on that pressure instead of the hot read. When one or more blitzer comes for the QB someone is always open in the opposition's backfield. The defense held the Raven's Offense to 10 points in the 1st half. Though in the 2nd hald Half Cassel in his glorious ineptness, as a franchise QB didn't help his team like he should and the defense was on the field a long ass time, and once the Raven's decided to stack the line with 8 men the box plus blitzers Cassel became shell shocked, and lost his composure because he couldn't take advantage of that. Make some more excuses please, because that's all you fall back on since Cassel can't make his team better, but rather the team needs to make him look better.
