Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

bro

you're dumb

look at the draft this year...guys like Ponder and Locker were going top 15...

those guys had 3rd round grades...but everyone is desperate for a QB...and no one considers those guys "can't miss" QB prospects

Matt Leinart wasn't a "can't miss"...maybe after his junior year he was thought of as the #1 QB prospect...but certainly not after his senior year...and he was never even close to a Luck level prospect (who may be the best QB prospect ever)

Right now Aaron Rodgers, at least how he's been playing over the last 15-20 games, is probably playing the best football by a QB...of all time

Sorry Milkman, it's true
Fair enough, but we will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

How may Croyles, Tony Pikes, and Levi Browns for every Tom Brady?

Leinart was a 'cant miss'? Really, @ 10th overall? QB's that are can't miss go 1 or 2.

Had to dig to find this tweet from some stats.

Here's your answer.

Since 1970- 32% of QBs taken 1st overall have won SB.
9.5% of QBs taken in rest of 1st round have won SB.
2.5% QBs rds 2-4.
1% QBs rds 5+

Yes there are busts. But statistically, the higher you are, the better shape you're in for landing a SB QB. Satisfied?

anyone who doubts Luck is just a complete, oblivious dumbass

it's that simple

he's the best QB prospect ever

the dude has literally no shot of failing outside of a tragic event (injury, airplane crash, AIDS, etc...)

If it wasn't the Raiders picking 1st overall, I really do wonder where Russell would of landed. No doubt in the first round, but I think many franchises already had him written off. It was so awesome that Russell had to happen to the Raiders. Beautiful stuff.

Why are you sorry.

Aaron Rodger is playing QB at the highest level we've ever seen.

I'd trade 3 drafts for him, and wouldn't think twice.
