Chiefs Cassel did, does, and will always suck - Page 95

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

This one may not be Cassels fault, but Cassel still sucks and will bear the brunt of venting because of it.

A lot of guys played poorly today, but we also know they are capable of much more. Seeing them play down to Cassel's level isn't going win him any reprieve.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, he's the QB and the face of the franchise. He's also being paid handsomely to lead the offense and he's struggling at doing it. I agree, he is wrongly accused at times, but he's still a weak-link, IMO.

I've been willing to cut him some slack, but after todays debacle, I agree, he sucks! Cant make the big throws when it needs to be done! Have we won too many games to still be in the Luck sweepstakes?
