Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

The trick to shooting any Mini is to learn how your rifle strings after the first 4 or 5 shots & the barrel starts getting hot. Mine starts tossing them high left on the 3rd shot. A lil low right Kentucky wind-edge & im right back where I wanna be almost every time.

I don't know how much you all use www.cheaperthandirt.com, but I've purchased two guns from them in the past three months or so and their prices have been very good and their shipping, very fast. In both cases, I got the weapon 48 hours after ordering it. Just thought I'd give some experience with them. Been very happy with their service.

First time around was for a little S&W 22A for plinking and targets. The new one is a Taurus M709 Slim for CCW.

Made the newbie mistake first time around of buying my wife's Taurus 24/7 .40 and my Springfield XD .45ACP at Bass Pro. Love the guns, but way overpaid. Oh well, live and learn.
