Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Mosin-Nagants...
Sks is $350 at buds. I think my brother has one.

I'd rather have an ak47.

My dream guns have always been:

1. M1 garand
2. M4
3. Ak47
4. M16
5. Glock or s&w .40

Just a man crush on guns I have.

What's everybody elses dream guns? Guns you can legally have.

I'd love to save up and buy one. One that I can shoot.

I'd love for my fiancé to inherite her great grandpas from her grandpa. I'd never shoot it but I wouldn't care.

Some day I'll have my dream guns. I may be 40, but I'll have them.

Nothing wrong with a Mosin-Nagants. just dnt go thinking its a tack driver. dnt freak when you see how hard the action is on them either.
if you go after a SKS??? look for one made in Russia by Tula. will cost a lil more.
but much better metal lurgy involved than a China made sks

I have a man crush on WWII infantry weapons. I'd take them over any current guns. I have my home defense guns. Anything else is just a new toy to play with.

Any suggestions on a good revolver?

I plan on shooting my 9mm Glock regularly until I'm comfortable and reasonably accurate with it, but I think I'd also like to buy a higher-caliber revolver that looks nice and shoots well later this summer, if I can afford it.

Im not a modern revolver man. Now if you wanna talk black powder revolvers. Ive been shooting them since the mid 70s & own many.
I do like my friends Ruger Black hawk in 357mag. very comfy for me to shoot. I would hate to be on the bizz end of that revolver even at a 100 yards

"high-caliber" being a .357 or .454?

Got it yesterday, now have to wait to go shoot it. Can't effing wait! In the meantime, I may find a holster for it. Gun show down in Tarrytown today, 1 1/2 hr. drive though- maybe I'll find one there. Wouldn't mind finding a good deal on a 12 G pump, too.

Anyone see those new Remmy 877's with the armorlokt coating? I don't know what to make of it.
