Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Does anyone here have experience with Burris reflex sights? I was thinking of getting either a Fastfire II or III model.

I expect to welcome home a Norinco SKS on Thursday. I worked out a trade that involved the Keltec PF9 and $200 cash. I have to drive out to Emporia to go get it but small hurdle.

We also worked out to what amounted to an ammo swap. .223 for 7.62x39

Still waiting on Bolt and Carrier Groups......The first batch that HLF Man. recieved were rejected by Qualtiy Control.

At least there will not be a Federal Assult weapons ban, so things will level out in 6 months or so.

The Spartan was a bit twitchy with our reloaded ammo - I had a few misfires last night. The gunsmith has it for a little tweaking.

I just picked up a case today. I was going through a small town on a sales run and was told, at their sporting goods store they were getting in some .22 shells. I talked to the dude behind the counter into stashing a case away for me. 10 boxes of 225 rounds at $14.99 a box. As a bonus, it's winchester high velocity hollow point ammo, not the garbage.

I didn't get a chance to buy any ammo last weekend. I had to help work the daughters horses

Yeah I got another brick earlier in the week, but that was after buying another .22 rifle. Today was like hitting the Powerball. I stop at about every sporting goods store in MT when I travel around and this was the first time I was able to get anything like this. Rick Grimes gun on Walking Dead. Colt Python with 8" barrel. I'd like to get one, but production was stopped in the early 90's. It is now a collectors item. Prices are $2500-$4500.

Those are darn nice guns. They are still out there, but you have to keep after it. Don't give up. A local sporting goods store had one about 4 months ago.

On a side note, it you do find one, DO NOT dry fire it. They are great guns, but dry firing them will break the firing pin on that model. You may get away with it a few times, but sooner or later, snap.

Been thinkin about getting one. But prices will need to drop! Can't see myself spending $4k on a revolver.
