Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.


Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?



Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

If the quad you have is just a replacement for the hand guards it is a snap. If you went with a free float system it is a little more work.

It's a replacement, but I'm not exactly mechanically inclined. Nor do I have a workbench or a vise. I'll probably need an extra set of hands to hold the delta ring down while I remove the old stuff and install the new stuff.

Tip: Just work on one side at a time, compress the delta ring for either the right or left and pop off that side of the hand guard. Repeat for the other side. Do the same when replacing.

LOL, I tried to take the quad off my Sig just to see if I could do it in case the need ever arises. I gave up after about 10 minutes of struggling and my hand bleeding in 2 places. **** that.

Maybe it's just my military background but I've never had a problem removing hand guards or quads.
