Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

I can't decide if this is necessary. I already own a Benelli for work so this would be strictly for home defense and fun.

Pretty sure they're not as expensive, other than that I'm not sure.

I'm in the market for a bad ass pistol, that won't rip my hand to shreds. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's a wide open question, what do you want to do with the gun? What's the biggest thing you may have to shoot with it?

For me it was a more affordable option. Still got a solid rifle and it was less expensive. Just being different has a little bit of a draw to me as well.

Thanks, bro. I'm mainly looking for home protection, but if the shit hits the fan I'd like to be able to drop some lead in several asses, without having to worry about jamming or reloading too much. I appreciate it, Bwana.

If it's for home protection consider an assault pump shotgun loaded up with number 1 buckshot, that's the one I keep by the bed. I take a Glock 20 on the road with me with 3 loaded mags. I would go to the local indoor range if you have one and rent several hand guns and try them out if that's the direction you really want to go.
