Battlefield 3

Anyone looking forward to this? I really like BC2, but haven't been playing it long.

Call of Duty will go head-to-head with Battlefield 3 in 2011.

The third game in the series, which will be shown to press during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco next month, is set for release this coming fall, Electronic Arts confirmed.

The publisher revealed the first teaser trailer for the game on its official website tonight. The trailer, which contains no actual gameplay, displays quick cuts of helicopters, ground troops, tanks and fighter jets.

Additional details courtesy of the official Battlefield Blog confirm a full single-player and co-op campaign, jets, prone, and 64-player multiplayer for the PC version. The Frostbite 2 engine will power the game and a Limited Edition will be revealed around GDC.

Developer DICE confirmed earlier this morning it was canceling the release of Battlefield 1943 and the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught pack for PC.

Platform and gametype problem. Consoles don't have enough ability to have as many players as PC's do. If you were playing on a PC in 32-64 man servers you would not have any problem finding action. You should stick with TDM as the maps are quite smaller.

Battlefield game types and maps are generally geared toward the PC player. They added TDM to appeal to the CoD fanboi's. Small maps, run and gun type play.

Consoles overall seem to be a but slow in the game play as well vs. PC. At least from my experience

IMO you need to squad up with friends or else its a lot of inactive time if you can't find a dedicated squad to spawn off beacons, teammates, and flag points. Just be patient and it'll all make sense. BadMaJama is my xbox gamer tag. hit me up.

Sell it back to Amazon, it's really easy and straight forward.

No problem. The only bad thing is that it's Amazon credit. I buy so much stuff from them, though, it's like real money to me.

I'll probably buy a bunch of Blu-Rays, books, or something else that I'll actually enjoy using instead of saying "Who the **** just shot me?"

By no means was I an ace at MW:2, but I was just ****ing worthless playing this game. My KDR had to be like .3-1, and I wasn't running and gunning.

You should team up with Kraus and WV (or AndChiefs if he's on) and see how you do. That game really is no fun if you have no team. If you have to play by yourself, you can always try Squad Deathmatch. You can rack up a lot of kills and points if you do it right in SQDM (the maps are also much smaller).

Is it bad that I like reading these comments and how stressed out certain individuals are when playing this game?
