You're looking right at the thing, and you still managed to mistype it. Freudian? ... or are you a butthead, too?

Blame theuptake.org. It's their footer, NOT AFT's.

Revolution to this dude means like the Bolshevik Revolution, the Jacobin's during the French Revolution and the Cuban revolution.

The American Revolution wasn't really a revolution. While it was one of the first experiments with a free republic (the closest thing to it prior would probably have been Ancient Greece) these ideas were on the minds of a lot of people. Revolutions usually occur when the balance of right and left on the political spectrum goes out of balance from small changes, and progressively that midpoint gets moved further and further away from its original spot as more and more people are entangled in matters of the revolution. The French Revolution is a perfect example. The American Revolution, not so much; we just kind of made it happen and then fought a war.

Well, some prefer to call it The American War for Independence for similar reasons. I would say the war was the revolution part but not the forming of the Republic. Since the Articles of Confederation preceded it.
