Harbinger of Good News?

I spent a lot of time with family this weekend and I found out something interesting (to me). My grandma's nephew is Ron Harper. The guy who won 5 NBA championships playing for Phil Jackson - 3 of them playing with Jordan, and 2 of them playing with Kobe.


I wonder if finding that out now, at the start of the playoffs is some kind of portent; as in a precursor to a Bulls-Lakers finals?
(I would settle for another Lakers championship, regardless of the opponent)


OTOH, he did also play for the Cavaliers and the Clippers, who aren't going anywhere, so maybe finding this out now doesn't mean anything after all.


But I still thought it was pretty cool. Maybe I will start attending family reunions now. LOL

I don't think the Lakers will make it to the finals this year. Their getting too long in the tooth. I do think the Bulls may make it though.
I think the winner of OKC and Denver series will be in the Western conference finals at least.

Wow, I didn't realize that they improved so much. Honestly, I haven't watched one Nuggets game since Melo was traded.
