Uhhhhhhhhhh... how have we not talked about Brad Smith from the Jets?

Dude's almost certain to hit free agency.

Smith not only has roots in Missouri as a former Tiger at Mizzou, he is the kind of all-purpose offensive joker this administration loves. He's got a great feel for the slot and is a receiving threat opposing teams can't leave to linebackers. He's also the league's best Wildcat guy, blocks well downfield, and can return kicks in a pinch. But most of all, he's the perfect compliment between Bowe and Baldwin.

He is my one and only "must get" of the offseason.

Geez.... you gotta figure at least a handful of teams want him.

So you gotta want him more than them. He's what, 27? You can sign him to a five year deal, maybe $3 or 4 million a year, lay about $5-6 million in guarantees in there.

The guy had four receptions last year so paying him 1 mil per catch might be kinda steep but I would still enjoy watching him as a Chief.

He probably has 1 good year left in him as a returner, maybe 2. Almost no value as a traditional receiver (career highs of 325 yds and 2 TDs). Brings a little value in the form of matchup/scheming (as a wildcat QB, etc). I haven't watched him enough as a pro, but apparently he's a decent all-around ST player.

Being a Mizzou homer, I'd love to see him in a Chiefs uniform, but only if he came cheap.
