I haven't really heard anything about conditioning except that the new NT can't run like a gazelle and a rookie or two looked winded too soon in practice. After Haley got the Chiefs team to lose about 3 players worth of weight when he got here, I'm wondering what kind of shape everyone showed up in after the extended offseason. Those of you who have been attending practices (I include last night's scrimmage against TB), what say you? I assume most returning players came back in pretty good shape rather than risk the "Wrath of Haley" but I am wondering if they were in bad enough shape to warrant last night's exhibition or is Haley being over cautious? I agree with his apparent plan of cautiousness personally but I didn't watch much of the game last night and didn't get a chance to see who was sucking wind and who was sucking major league "pass the oxygen" wind after more than 3 plays?
