WTF's the big deal? He's giving the vets the day off and challenging the n00bs to show something.

FWIW - I'm really digging the new wart Norf grew on the side of his right nostril.
Lookin' good Norf!

It's bad enough that I have to see these fluffy goody goody feel good story's on the sports page every morning when I open the sports page of the San Diego paper every morning. But when it shows up on the CP it just makes me hate the Chargers even more.

But really, it's not a bad idea on his part. What's the worst that's going to happen....a slow start? A full camp obviously doesn't help in that department.

They are the most established team in this division and need a full camp a hell lot less than other teams.

Norv sucks Schweatty Balls, but this is a non-story. Coaches do shit like this all the time. Belichick likes to surprise his troops by telling them, at the end of a practice, that if a fat O-lineman can catch a punt they can have the next day off. He also does shit like has the veterans acts as position coaches for a session.

But, as for Norv... I thank the Football Gods every day that he coaches San Diego. With a real coach there, we'd probably be including the Chargers in the discussion with the Patriots, Steelers, and Colts as "multiple AFC Super Bowl winners this past decade".

Did I sleep through a SB that the Colts won?

Cause last I checked, 1 does not equal multiple.
