Chiefs "Dissed" by ESPN Power ranking says John Rozum

Re: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/8...-dis-from-espn

Quote:
If There was a Team Who Got Snubbed, it was the Chiefs

When ESPN released their preseason 2011 NFL Power Rankings, the Kansas City Chiefs were ranked No. 14.

They were the second lowest division champion only to Seattle, but by comparison for 2011, Seahawks haven't improved like the Chiefs.

Despite finishing with an 11-5 record, winning the AFC West for the first time since 2003, and having the game's best ground attack, it apparently wasn't enough to garner any respect.

Even division rival San Diego was ranked in front, and they only finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs.

I really don't know...14 seems about right to me at this point....Is it just me or is this article a homerific pile of shit? Maybe I am just pessimistic but 14 seems like a decent ranking based on the current information at hand..

Who is this homer John Rozum ? Anyone heard of him?

edit: found real name and article

well 1st of all, he doesn't even know our record last year. secondly, I think 14 is fairly generous, I might say somewhere like 18-20. Unless they come out and truly inspire, i do not like what i've seen from bill muir's offense.

They play the games so we'll find out. Who cares about rankings anyway?

We're not ranked 14 as of this morning. We're ranked 18 now. Which, yeah, I think is BS, But whatever.

As A Chiefs fan I've grown to not a give a **** about what the mass media says.

I am surprised. 14 isnt bad considering what we have witnessed in pre-season

YES, I know pre-season doesn't mean anything.

So yah, 18 is a little low...but "dissed"...

We're not ranked 14. That was the point of this poorly written POS Article.

It is a diss. Look at the way they ranked these teams. Colts @ #9 w/o Manning? Are you ****ing kidding me?

What have the Cowboys, Lions and Rams done?

We're as bad as the Jaguars? It's a BS Power Ranking, like usual.

They don't even have a reasonable explanation as to why we're so low. "It's hard to duplicate a break out year" Really? That's the Logic used here?
