Michelle Malikin is upset

...about the idea that Americans today "are generally more willing to believe that U.S. policies in the Middle East might have motivated the 9/11 terror attacks on New York and the Pentagon." There's also Pew Research Poll has shown more Americans blame our own govt's policies for 9/11 now. It's 43% now and mainly found among Independents and Democrats. http://www.deccanherald.com/content/...motivated.html

This same sentiment by Americans gets deemed crazy by posters like Donger when this women is completely unhinged on the subject of more war.

She is a breath of fresh air and I couldn't agree more. Especially when you look at this little gem from that poll:

"The survey also found major differences between age groups on this question. More than half (52 percent) of respondents under 30 said US actions may have motivated the attacks, while only 20 percent of respondents 65 and older were open to that explanation."

BEP, Frankie, democrates, or ignorant youth that don't know or understand the realities of actual history who have instead been spoonfed the liberal BS and swallowed it down like a two dollar whore. Her article is an awesome dose of truth that deserves its own space:

All the Wrong 9/11 Lessons

by Michelle Malkin

Are your kids learning the right lessons about 9/11? Ten years after Osama bin Laden's henchmen murdered thousands of innocents on American soil, too many children have been spoon-fed the thin gruel of progressive political correctness over the stiff antidote of truth.

"Know your enemy, name your enemy" is a 9/11 message that has gone unheeded. Our immigration and homeland security policies refuse to profile jihadi adherents at foreign consular offices and at our borders. Our military leaders refuse to expunge them from uniformed ranks until it's too late (see: Fort Hood massacre). The j-word is discouraged in Obama intelligence circles, and the term "Islamic extremism" was removed from the U.S. national security strategy document last year.

Similarly, too many teachers refuse to show and tell who the perpetrators of 9/11 were and who their heirs are today. My own daughter was one year old when the Twin Towers collapsed, the Pentagon went up in flames and Shanksville, Pa., became hallowed ground for the brave passengers of United Flight 93. In second grade, her teachers read touchy-feely stories about peace and diversity to honor the 9/11 dead. They whitewashed Osama bin Laden, militant Islam and centuries-old jihad out of the curriculum. Apparently, the youngsters weren't ready to learn even the most basic information about the evil masterminds of Islamic terrorism.

Mary Beth Hicks, author of the new book " Don't Let the Kids Drink the Kool-Aid," points to a recent review of 10 widely used textbooks in which the concepts of jihad and sharia were either watered down or absent. These childhood experts have determined that grade school is too early to delve into the specifics of the homicidal clash of Allah's sharia-avenging soldiers with the freedom-loving Western world.

Yet, many of the same protectors of fragile elementary-school pupils can't wait to teach them all the ins and outs of condoms, cross-dressers and crack addictions.

We pulled our daughter out of a cesspool of academic and moral relativism and found a reality-grounded, rigorous charter school where no-nonsense teachers refuse to sugarcoat inconvenient facts and history. Many of the students are children of soldiers and servicemen and women who -- inspired by the heroes of 9/11 -- have voluntarily deployed time and time again to kill the American Dream destroyers abroad before they kill us over here.

There's no better way to hammer home the message that "freedom is not free" than to have your kids go to school with other kids whose dads and moms are gone for years at a time -- missing births and birthday parties, recitals and soccer practice, Christmas pageants and Independence Day fireworks.

But instead of unfettered pride in our armed forces, social justice educators in high schools and colleges across the country indoctrinate American students into viewing our volunteer armed forces as victims, monsters and pawns in a leftist "social struggle."

A decade after the 9/11 attacks, Blame America-ism still permeates classrooms and the culture. A special 9/11 curriculum distributed in New Jersey schools advises teachers to "avoid graphic details or dramatizing the destruction" wrought by the 9/11 hijackers, and instead focus elementary school students' attention on broadly defined "intolerance" and "hurtful words."

No surprise: Jihadist utterances such as "Kill the Jews," "Allahu Akbar" and "Behead all those who insult Islam" are not among the "hurtful words" studied.

Middle-schoolers are directed to "analyze diversity and prejudice in U.S. history." And high-school students are taught "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" - pop-psychology claptrap used to excuse jihadists' behavior based on their purported low self-esteem and oppressed status caused by "European colonialism."

It is no wonder that a new poll released this week showed that Americans today "are generally more willing to believe that U.S. policies in the Middle East might have motivated the 9/11 terror attacks on New York and the Pentagon," according to Reuters.

To make matters worse, we have an appeaser-in-chief who wrote shortly after the jihadist attacks a decade ago that the "essence of this tragedy" derives "from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others." A "climate of poverty and ignorance" caused the attacks, then-Illinois state Sen. Barack Obama preached. Never mind the Ivy League and Oxford educations, the oil wealth and the middle-class status of legions of al-Qaida plotters and operatives.

9/11 was a deliberate, carefully planned evil act of the long-waged war on the West by Koran-inspired soldiers of Allah around the world. They hated us before George W. Bush was in office. They hated us before Israel existed. And the avengers of the religion of perpetual outrage will keep hating us no matter how much we try to appease them.

The post-9/11 problem isn't whether we'll forget. The problem is: Will we ever learn?

If you can't understand Chuck Norris then he will kick you in the head

Feds Still Enable Terrorists 10 Years After 9/11

by Chuck Norris

Ten years ago, after 9/11, Americans chanted, "We will never forget."

Today the White House is chanting that it is not "just about us."

Terrorism has been tempered and transformed ever since 2009, when President Barack Obama took office and turned the global war on terror into an "overseas contingency operation" and coddled the global Muslim community from Cairo by saying that part of his "responsibility as president of the United States is to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear" and create a "partnership between America and Islam." Since those actions, a slew of terrorists have slipped through the cracks of U.S. international and homeland security.

Alex Jones' Infowars.com recently documented several examples of how the feds have "dispensed with all pretense of the war on terror being focused on Al-Qaeda Muslims."

In April 2009, The Washington Times reported that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano stood by a DHS intelligence assessment report that "lists returning veterans among terrorist risks to the U.S." And in the same month, The Wall Street Journal reported that the FBI was running a probe targeting returning veterans as extremists and a major domestic threat.

At the end of last year, an Atlanta station, WSB-TV, reported that "the State Department is sending hundreds of millions of dollars to save mosques overseas." The anchor noted that the U.S. Agency for International Development granted enormous funds for mosques in Cairo, Cyprus, Tajikistan and Mali.

In March, Judicial Watch obtained new documents via a Freedom of Information Act request that revealed that U.S. officials had apprehended 663 illegal immigrants last year with suspected ties to terrorist groups. Yet our borders and ports remain as porous for illegals as a screen through which gnats slip.

In the same month, ABC News reported that the "U.S. government formally requested the early release of a convicted terrorist (Mohammed Babar) from federal prison, even though the terrorist admitted that he continued to support the killing of U.S. soldiers serving in Muslim countries."

Just a few weeks ago, as a part of its "If You See Something, Say Something" stoolie campaign, Homeland Security released two videos, in which nearly every segment shows a shift in federal strategy from catching foreign terrorists to targeting white middle-class Americans who are against big government as terrorists, including tea partyers, anti-Fed activists and even veterans. (These videos echo Vice President Joe Biden's recent remarks that tea partyers are like "terrorists.")

On Aug. 26, Fox News reported that the State Department is protecting the privacy of terrorists by refusing to release documents about Anwar al-Awlaki, the Muslim cleric who became the first American on the CIA's kill or capture terrorist list. In response to a Fox News FOIA request for al-Awlaki's passport records, the State Department replied, "The release of this information to you would be an invasion of personal privacy of another person, without written authorization from that person."

It's official: The feds have lost their minds, this time at the cost of forgetting the heart of 9/11 and all the sacrifices made to fight militant Islam since. Ten years after 9/11, the federal government has become an acute enabler of terrorism. It is suffering from a self-inflicted terrorist amnesia, despite the fact that even in the past two years, there have been 126 terror-related arrests, and all have been Muslims.

With the killing of Osama bin Laden and President Obama's recent order to withdraw more troops from Afghanistan, it appears that the feds soon will be raising the banner that the "overseas contingency operation is mission complete." But what they really need is a wake-up call to jar them out of their terrorist amnesia!

We should plant the feds in the heart of Afghanistan and have them seriously reconsider al-Qaida's assault on America and exactly how and why our courageous troops and their families continue to sacrifice for us -- something well-documented by film producer Mike Slee in his most recent film tribute to our service members and their families as a part of Operation Patriot Care Package, highlighted on Sean Hannity's Fox News Channel show and on Slee's own website.

Unfortunately, this terrorism amnesia has spread outside Washington and infected such officials as New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has decided that a ground zero commemoration for the victims of 9/11 on the attack's 10th anniversary will be held without prayer. Neither clergy nor first responders have been invited to the event, because Bloomberg apparently thinks politicians will be sufficient to comfort the still-grieving families and nation. Please sign the Family Resource Council's petition to Bloomberg to reverse his decision and recognize that prayer is needed more than politics.

Bloomberg needs to take a lesson from people like Rosellen Dowdell, the widow of Lt. Kevin Dowdell, who was a New York firefighter who gave up his life on 9/11. She told the Catholic News Service: "I've never blamed God. I've always looked to God for an answer. I guess I always hoped there was solace in going to church and being in the presence of God."

Similarly, Monsignor Michael J. Curran told CNS: "So many of these families, who have every reason to be angry at God, have not given up. They are still faithful. I'm more aware of the spiritual strength of people. Folks are not fair-weather friends of God. The question of 'why?' is still out there, but they are willing to trust God and keep him at the center of their lives. Nobody has just slammed down their bat and ball and gone home."

Ten years ago, in the wake of the worst terrorist attacks in our nation's history, Americans turned to one another and God for help and comfort. The wise still seek him. They know the truth -- as did most of America's Founding Fathers -- in Psalm 33:12: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."

God bless and help all the victims of 9/11, from United Flight 93 to the Pentagon and New York and beyond, and may the real memory of 9/11 live on in our hearts and minds so that even our posterity will say, "We will never forget."
