The Hunt's Deal with the Devil...

It was a bitterly frigid day in January, 1967 when, in pure Faustavian fashion, Lamar met with ole Beezlebub in a dark, cold smokey bar on KC's south side. Just a few days earlier, Green Bay had gut shot our beloved hometeam and Lamar just couldn't get the bitter taste out of his mouth. So he called Lucifer on the phone and made a date.

Here, a most unholy pact was made.

In exchange for a beat down of the highly rated Purple People Eaters three years down the road, we have to experience...

10: The reality of Al Davis leering at and rubbing the Lombardi like a beautiful young trophy wife three times.
09: George Blanda living to 1000...and beating us all through the 70's
08: Todd Blackledge
07: the perfectly ironic X-mas day 1971.
06: the Kicker who has no name
05: Chester McGothlin to the Chiefs...Whitlock acting as the false prophet anti-christ saying Chiefs would go 16-0.
04: the end of Marty celebrated with the Monday night meltdown
03: John Elway to the Broncos
02: Herm Edwards
01: the deaths of DT and Joe.

...and just when we thought the curse might run out old Satan crushes the knees of our three best players.

Selling your soul just ain't what it used to be....
