It was a rivals site that I was looking at earlier that had him with 0 stars. I just checked again, and it shows him at 3 stars now. Strange. http://rivals.yahoo.com/kansas/footb...mmitments/2012

Just a little poll here. Who here thinks that KU will be better this next season than last season?

How could they not be? That might have been the worst BCS conference team in the last 20 years.

Well that's not really going out on a limb to say they will be better. The question would then be how many games better? Of course, it's really hard to say that now without knowing all the recruits CW brings in and before even seeing the team in spring drills. I'll go out on a limb and say 5-6 wins. And there won't be a bunch of blowouts. Even the losses will be respectable. That last part may be a bit of a stretch but I have faith in CW.

I would say the Turner Gill Era (rated an A+ hire by Stewart Mandel) rates right there with K-State prior to the arrival of Bill Snyder.

Today, KU is at least catching the attention of recruits that would never have seriously considered Kansas as an option. We're landing QB's with amazing potential, DT's that are an upgrade.

We're not going to take over the Big 12, but we're not going to rollover and play dead. I think we'll sneak up and maybe win a couple of games people didn't expect us to win.

Regardless, I think KU is definitely moving in the right direction. As a member of the AD told me Thursday night, "Now comes the hard part."

You're using that as an argument? Seriously?

I commend you for your off-the-wall antics at the very least.

If it was St. Joseph vs. Valparaiso, but those were ranked #3 and #5 in the country it would have the same result compared to the other items listed in that poll.

So you're saying that we have national attention on us because we're really good? I agree. Kansas's football program has a modicum of national attention on them at the moment because it's a clown show.

I'll take being the featured event on ESPN for being part of a matchup of top 5 teams over being on some Rivals page for a bizarre coaching hire any day.

It's a bit of a clown show, but it seems to be building excitement, and I haven't been excited for KU football since Reesing was QB.

Everybody loves an Underdog. Right now KU epitomizes that. It's a better story than MU going to the SEC, that's for damn sure.
