That's too bad but I assume with the regime change and a completely different offensive philosophy, he figured it wasn't a good fit anymore.

I would see that as a good sign for KU. If Baylor is willing to spend a scholarship on a QB that didn't fit into KU's plans, the overall talent level must be improving. I would have expected to see him transfer to some non-BCS school.

He is currently pursuing other opportunities outside of KU, along with Darian Miller, Keeston Terry, JaQwaylin Arps, and Adonis Saunders. Part of the first group dismissed.

That's a pretty good point. Hopefully it is optimistic, but I don't see our talent level being more than Baylor's at this point. I'm not sure the talent level was anywhere near as bad as the performance level was. The coaching was THAT bad.

the KU staff still wanted him, but were re-recruiting him as an Athlete... not as a QB. Baylor offered him an opportunity to come in as a QB from all accounts, and he liked that opporutnity better. KU wasn't gonna give him an opportunity there for some reason. Would have really liked to have this kid. Could have been the best athlete out of all the High School commitments

Not really sure how you can say that. The KU recruiting classes have consistently ranked in the top 40.

Including last years.

Although the talent is improving under Weis so far it's obvious that the players on the field weren't the main problem for KU the last two years.

SO, at this point we're at odds about what "consistent" means. 3 out of 5 = consisten in Wickedson's eyes, and = inconsistent in SG's eyes.

I would say were at 60%, and if JuCo = 5th year transfers are included, KU should be considered top 40 again this year... that's 4 out of 6.
