"So I said, `I support you 100 percent if that's what you want to do. I think that's great.' Now, when guys make parallel moves, I don't necessarily agree with that. When guys can further their career, I think it's great."

Wrong again. Maybe you can make something else up that will stick. Keep trying.

Weiss may have been physically around for the playoffs with the Chiefs, but it was pretty obvious he had checked out once it was announced he was leaving.

He was probably just tired of Chief fans putting an extra s on his last name.

Let's hope he enjoys his stay with us...

Sources: Dayne Crist will visit Kansas for a potential transfer and reunion with Charlie Weis. He leaves tomorrow morning.

Coach Self would ask him why he didn’t make curfew and he’d say, “Because the club was crackin’!” Everyone would laugh and he’d make B-Rush run a little bit.

I just saw something similar. Wouldn't hurt to bring in a 5th year QB with experience in his system for his first year.

So the guy who got benched at halftime of the first game of the season against South Florida is the target?

The Irish scored no points in the first half with him at QB. They scored 20 after he got pulled. His replacement threw for 296 yards in the second half.

Is he better than what KU has now? Should be an easy answer.

I'd stick with Webb. He's only a sophomore, and his name was being mentioned for Heisman for a while. (Okay, that was only Wickedson.)
