Lol @ all the people bashing Haley.

Because it couldn't have just been a conflict of two huge egos, right? I mean...that is what the Michael Holley said....the only guy with some actual insight as to what when on.

Weis is a good name but I just don't see how he can succeed at KU after failing miserably at Notre Dame.
My thinking would be that he learned some valuable lessons on some of the mistakes he made the first time around in ND, and will enter this job much better prepared and with many more connections.

My hope is that this hire also makes KU more of a player in recruiting top offensive talent, and that Weis will be able to attract some top QB prospects to Lawrence. We'll see.

His success or failure will all depend on the strength of his staff and recruiting network...

I think this is a very big deal for KU, very big deal. He has some credentials and he should be a strong hire for that young team.

Weis had amazing recruiting classes at Notre Dame and still failed miserably. I believe he had at least one or two classes that were ranked #1 overall.

His last two years he went 13-12 despite playing a total of only four ranked teams.

Yeah I guess anything can happen, but it seems unlikely he will be a success. Time will tell.
