Did a bit more looking.

None of the A&M commitments listed in the article so far that I searched were offered by Texas. Think there are 5 or 6 names mentioned there.

I did just that. Funny thing about Rivals...they only show what schools the players are interested in rather than schools that were interested in the player. These players had no interest in Texas, but there is nothing indicating whether or not Texas was interested in them.

I mean, DGB wasn't interested in playing at Idaho State, but I'm sure they would have offered him a scholarship if he wanted to play there.

Texas did not offer a single player in A&M's class.

Nothing has changed. A&M always has got the second pickings in the state and still doesn't muster much success out of that.

The SEC has four of the top five classes (none for the Big 12), five of the top ten (one for the Big 12), ten of the top twenty (two for the Big 12), and twelve of the top 24 (three for the Big 12).

No wonder Slive wants to play a bowl against the Big 12. It's going to be like a scrimmage where the ones play the threes.
