Charlotte, Louisville, Springfield and West Palm would be big SEC cities.

They're in the SEC footprint for sure.

I count 28 of the top 100 largest markets in the country being in the SEC footprint. Care to take a guess how that stacks up against the Big 12?

Cities in the Northeast love the big time SEC match ups. Those are all on network TV. They don't watch Vandy-Miss St.

That's my point about the limits of an SEC network across America.

Going to try to tell me that Memphis isn't SEC territory?

Want to tell me that Chicago is an Illinois town, but Kansas City doesn't get factored into SEC (as well as the Big 12)?

Probably less than the Big 12. The Big 12 has 10 teams. I'm not sure I understand your point.

I was never comparing it to the Big 12.

But L.A. loves to watch Maryland play Indiana in football?

When was the last time you were in Miami or the Missouri side of the KC metro area? A large majority of the Missouri side are Mizzou fans and therefore it is an SEC city, whether you want to admit it or not. And Miami is most definitily not an ACC city just because of the U.

It's not a large majority, but there are more Mizzou fans on the Missouri side of State Line than Kansas. Actually, it probably is a fairly large majority. If you go to Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Liberty, Belton, Raymore, etc. it's almost exclusively Mizzou similar to the way Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, and Lenexa are almost exclusively KU.
