It took KU's participation in the semi's and finals to bring in the biggest numbers. But everyone knows this.
Every session was sold out in 2012. That they added a few seats in 2013 doesn't change the fact that 2012 had better numbers.

Standing ovations from Mu fans for a school that bludgeoned you at home a couple months earlier. I would bet that is a first in college sports history. I'd almost guarantee it.

Still talking about something that didn't happen? Beats reality, I guess.

So much for being an MU town. Can't even draw more than a school in a neighboring state.

If I was Texas I'd look to get out too. They can't win anything in the Big 12. Just like Mizzou and Nebraska. Can't beat em? Leave.

I think you're right after listening to the audio.

What part of "the 2012 tournament drew more total fans than 2013 and sold out every session" confuses you?

Saw Prominently displayed on KC star today that KU and K State will both get 22 mil this year from the big 12. Under that headline was that Mizzou will get 20.7 mil from the SEC.

What about next year? They mention the SEC network should net an additional 17mil for all SEC schools for the next 20 or so years. Does the long horn network share any tv money?

I haven't kept up with the network projections.

You're saying Mizzou should reap 37.7 million next year?

I'm not certain but it sounds like it. *After 2013-14*

"Shared SEC revenue is expected to skyrocket after the 2013-14 season. The launch of the SEC Network is expected to bring an additional $17 million annually per school on average through the life of a 20-year contract with ESPN."
