I'm rooting for Sean O'Malley, but only if he talks like a leprechaun while he's Pope.

Wait. I didn't see the guy from Nigeria. That could be hilarious. Imagine the mass e-mails as he tries to sell off all of that gold and stuff.

He would be a good choice, I think. It's hard for anyone to predict, though. Perhaps Angelo Scola. Whoever it is must be a strong administrator.

Honestly, without any bullshit or goofing around, I hope that they do name a Pope who has the ability to work through some of the issues that have plagued the RCC lately. The church has tremendous potential for doing good in the world and I would love to see them live up to that potential going forward.

Put me down for Gianfranco Ravisi. And I think he should take the name Pius XIII.

Ah man. Now I have to think up a name for Sean O'Malley. What is the naming convention for Popes?

OK. It looks like Popes are named after saints so I'm going with Sean O'Malley becomes Pope Thomas in honor of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
