What are your intentions? Just running an air ratchet or do you plan to do a bunch of cutting and grinding?
If your intentions are more the former than a plain ole 120V oil-less compressor will do run your air ratchet and impact wrenches just fine. If more the later and you do much grinding and/or sanding you’ll get real tired real fast waiting on that oil-less compressor to catch back up. Go ahead, spend the money and get a good 220V oil filled preferably 2 cylinder compressor that’s moving >7-9 CFM @ 90 PSI and you’ll be glad you did.

If you were going to do it professionally you’d wear those electrics out but if you’re just doing a project here and that, like it sounds, electric will handle the job just fine.
