So WHO else would take Tony Romo over Luck or RG III ???

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ck-or-griffin/

OF course WHAT ELSE would you say about your starting QB?

Jerry Jones would rather have Romo than Luck or Griffin
Posted by Michael David Smith on February 29, 2012, 10:34 AM EST
Tony Romo, Jerry Jones AP

If your favorite team could have its pick of Tony Romo, Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III, who would you want? To Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, that’s an easy one.

According to the Cowboys’ official website, Jones explicitly said he wouldn’t trade Romo for Griffin or Luck.

Some might see that as further evidence of Jones’s 50 concussions, but Jones’s son, Cowboys V.P. Stephen Jones, agrees with his dad. Stephen Jones told the Star-Telegram he sees Romo being the Cowboys’ franchise quarterback for years to come, and there’s no way he’d take Luck or Griffin as the franchise quarterback over Romo.

“There are not many better than him out there,” Stephen Jones said. “I hear it — he hasn’t gotten it done yet. I hear it, all of that. But you are not going to find much better than Tony Romo. Every year he improves. As he gets better, our chances get better.”

Of course, the Cowboys aren’t in a position where they actually have to make that decision (unless Jim Irsay has offered Jones the first overall pick in the NFL draft in exchange for Romo, which somehow I doubt has happened). But if a team did have that choice to make, what would be the right move? We’ll let PFT Planet weigh in.

I've said it before, but Tony Romo is basically an overrated Matt Cassel in a much higher media environment, with a few very good games added on top

He's holding Dallas back from the Super Bowl more than he's helping them get to the Super bowl.

depends on where your team is at.

YOu wouldnt want Luck or RGIII on a team thats only a QB away, nor would you want Romo on a team that needs to be built from the ground up.

If Dallas had a better D, Romo would have been a playoff QB more often.

BUt i agree, chances are good Romo is never going to win a championship.
