Affirmative Action doesn't adjust your grades. It just helps some minorities get into the building.

We haven't seen Obama's grades. I was saying Obama got in on AA. Getting in on AA may mean your grades and test scores aren't up to what others need to get into an Ivy League university. Ergo, his grades there may not be that great either if you use logic.

Iirc both him and his wife both got in under AA. No wonder she uses that dumb food pyramid. Who the **** would use what the govt says to eat for a guide?
Then sic food cops on parents in the schools to enforce it.

They probably both benefited from affirmative action policies. In fact, Obama has said so himself (regarding himself).

Despite affirmative action policies, though, Harvard would have very little problem finding intelligent black candidates applying to their Law School. It's not like top 10 law schools accept a bunch of goofballs because they're black to fill some undefined quota.

Well, not on the same level of course, but the point was just because my kids hadn't heard of those two, their response might be the same as yours. Who cares. I'm saying when you learn what Alynski was about, and you find that people really admired him, it says something. Just because he wasn't as "big" as Hitler and just because YOU don't know who he is doesn't take away from the point of this.

In other words, say you find that Romney or whatever is really into some obscure author who was a Grand Knight of the KKK. But you never heard of him. But Romney can be shown to be a big fan of the guy. You wouldn't find that problematic?
